Richard Carvath - Prospective Independent MP for Salford and Eccles

In the 2010 General Election the key moral issue is... the Right to Life

Deciding upon the best candidate in a General Election isn't always the easiest decision.  Responsible voters check where the candidates stand on a range of important issues.  It is rare that any candidate is a 100% perfect reflection of a voter's opinions, so good voters decide which candidate is their 'least bad option' - the one who best fulfils their requirements on the most important issues.

One issue is more important than any other in electing a Member of Parliament: LIFE.  Nothing in life is more important than life itself.  No other human right trumps the fundamental right to life itself.  If life is denied then no other right can be exercised.

It is unthinkable to vote for a candidate who is in favour of killing innocent unborn babies or elderly, disabled or depressed people - such a candidate is not fit for office.  In choosing between candidates it is vital to find out whether they uphold or deny the sanctity of human life.  Is a candidate Pro Life or Pro Death?  Is a candidate for or against abortion and euthanasia, and what is the candidate's position on the treatment of embryonic human beings?

The Anti-Life commitment of Hazel Blears is very clear.  Hazel Blears has consistently voted against Life in the House of Commons.  Blears has voted for euthanasia.  Blears voted for research using human cloning in 2000.  In 2008 Blears voted against reducing the abortion limit from 24 weeks, voted against a ban on so-called 'saviour siblings', voted against a ban on creating animal-human hybrids and voted against providing information and offering counselling to women considering abortion.

Hazel Blears is Anti-Life.  In total contrast, Richard Carvath is unequivocally, 100% Pro Life

Richard is opposed to abortion, euthanasia, human cloning, animal/human hybrids, unethical fertility procedures and the unethical treatment of embryonic human beings.  Every human being is created in the image of God.  The life of every human being is precious beyond measure.  Life begins at the moment of conception, and every human being has the right to life from the moment of conception.  There are about 200,000 abortions annually in the UK.  Let's remember the dead at the 2010 General Election - and let's vote to stop the slaughter of the innocents.
